LaserCap for Hair Loss Available in Dominican Republic

Advancements in laser technologies have brought revolutionary changes in the healthcare sector. Laser therapies are now common in almost all fields of medicine including ophthalmology, dermatology and other branches of medicine. The latest advancement in laser-induced treatment is LaserCap, a laser device designed by Transdermal Cap for treating thinning hair.

Recently Transdermal Cap announced the availability of LaserCap in the Dominican Republic. The portable low-level laser light therapy device for hair regrowth is now available through hair restoration expert, Dr. Alba Reyes in Santo Domingo.

LaserCap is the best alternative to costlier hair transplant surgeries. It is less invasive too. It can also be combined with other hair loss therapies such as Minoxodil and Finasteride. Its ease of use leads to better efficacy because the treatment protocol is easy to follow.

LaserCap uses low level laser light to stimulate hair growth for hair loss at levels never before seen for at-home use, according to company officials. The hands-free design and compact form make it fit in almost any hat. It can be used at home or on the go.

"We've been getting fantastic results," said LaserCap founder and co-inventor, Dr. Michael Rabin, "It slows the loss, stop it, reverses it in almost every patient."

The device is medically managed, and is only available through a licensed physician, but there are no weekly trips back to the doctor's office required, as in the case of the less powerful laser hood devices.*

"The LaserCap maximizes patient compliance since it is worn under any head cover (baseball cap, scarf, etc.) and is completely portable…higher dosimetry combined with consistent regular use (i.e., patient compliance) may be essential for effectiveness," said Robert Haber, MD, a renowned hair restoration surgeon and president of LaserCap Co.

LaserCaps has been sold in countries across the world including USA, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Dubai, India, Italy, Kuwait, South Africa, Sweden, Venezuela, and now the Dominican Republic. The product is awaiting clearance from FDA.

Hair loss affects nearly 50 percent of adult women and 80 percent of adult men. LaserCaps helps these individuals regain their youthful appearance without having them to undergo costlier hair transplant procedures.

Recently hair restoration expert Dr. Alan J. Bauman disclosed four ways to "avoid hair transplant." They include: use LaserCaps and other powerful topical treatments like prescription-based Formula 82M, use

HairCheck Trichometer to check the exact hair loss and adopt appropriate measures, conduct genetic tests like HairDX can accurately predict the risk of hair loss, and consult a hair loss specialist.
