David P. Deutsch, M.D., received his Bachelor of Science from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia in 1981 and his Masters in Anatomy from New York University in 1983, followed by his M.D. from St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri in 1987.
 
He completed his General Surgery Residency at State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1992, followed by his Cardio-thoracic Residency at University of Rochester, New York in 1994. This was followed by fellowships in Adult Cardiac Surgery at Beth Israel/Harvard Medical Center and Baystate Medical Center through 1996.
 
Dr. Deutsch joined Bosley in 2004 after eight years of private private Cardiothoracic and Bariatric Surgery practice in Long Beach, CA. He had multiple staff appointments at the time, including Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, St. Mary Medical Center and Lakewood Regional Medical Center.
 
Dr. David Deutsch is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He is also a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Society (ISHRS).
