Dr. Samuel M. Lam is a hair transplant surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery.  Dr. Lam focuses on a combination graft approach using both single follicular-unit and multiple follicular-unit transfers to achieve his aesthetic objectives.  He is involved in every phase of patient care from the consultation to the surgery and after care.  Dr. Lam performs all of his procedures under the comfort of light IV sedation in his full, on-site surgery center in Plano, Texas.  Dr. Lam also performs numerous hair restoration procedures on women and ethnic minorities and uses a different strategy for these patients.  Dr. Lam has written 2 textbooks on hair restoration, Comprehensive Facial Rejuvenation and Aging Face:  the New Paradigm, and numerous scientific articles and book chapters on hair restoration and lectures on multiple-unit grafting among other topics throughout the year in major scientific meetings.
