Dr. Martin Zadnik completed his undergraduate studies in 1988 at Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Chemistry with a minor in Biology.  He earned his M.D. from the University of Toledo College of Medicine, Toledo, Ohio in 1992.  As a medical student he participated in a medical mission with a team to the Dominican Republic.  Subsequently, he completed his internship and residency training in General Surgery at the University of Toledo Medical Center and associated hospitals in Toledo, Ohio in 1997.
After finishing surgical training Dr. Zadnik served in the rank of Major in the Medical Corps of the USAF at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota.  After an honorable discharge he pursued a career at Mercy Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota where he practiced as a general surgeon performing a variety of intra-abdominal surgery, breast cancer surgery, hernia repair surgery and was a member of the core trauma program.  He also served as the Lead Physician of his clinic for five years.  Dr. Zadnik joined BOSLEY to exclusively practice hair restoration surgery after a successful 18-year career in group practice as an American Board of Surgery certified surgeon.
Dr. Zadnik trained in the BOSLEY program of Hair Transplantation under Medical Director Ken Washenik, M.D., Ph.D., and Associate Medical Director Edwin Suddleson, M.D.
Dr. Martin Zadnik is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and a member of the Minneapolis Surgical Society.  He is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in Minnesota, California and South Dakota.
Dr. Zadnik has a daughter studying at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and a son studying at the University of Minnesota, Duluth
