Female Hair Loss - Scary Trends to Be Careful Of

The female market is one of the most competitive when it comes to beauty and on trend fashions. Everything from the ‘color of the season’ to which famous person is wearing what style hair-do. Staying on trend and relevant is something that’s top of mind for females from a very young age, and even into their later years in life.

One on-trend style that continues to adapt and change - but is always is a focus, is hair. Each season brings with it a new decision of wearing it curly or straight, long or short, dark or light? But getting hair to this state to match the trends is where the scare factors lay.

Once hair has been damaged severely enough, it has nothing left to do but die and fall off (hopefully growing new hair where that now empty spot is). Do this long enough and soon you will notice bald spots on your head and quickly start searching for a cure.

But specialists are advising women to take precaution and care for their locks before its too late.

For women who are not able to grow super long hair, many times wigs and extensions are the choice to at least appear as though you have flowing tresses. However this solution can be stressful and damaging to the hair - whether you’r using a scalp glue, having them sewn in or just snapping it a tight clip to keep the hair in place, there is some kind of tugging or damage that will take place.

Another in season trend this year is hair chalking - using a colored chalky product to rub and deposit color onto the hair - is not something newly discovered, but something that is now being approached with caution because it causes hair to become so coarse and therefore susceptible to breakage.

While there are techniques to keep the hair from being damaged when rubbing this product through the hair, professional assistance is recommended if you’re looking to keep your locks as healthy as possible.
